Our Purpose
CHOOSE A LEASH THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
In our partnership with TRIO, we hold ourselves responsible to the highest of standards to ensure that we produce the best quality product with an even better outcome. When you purchase a TRIO leash, you can create a better world by unifying the environment, humans, and animals.

These leashes are born from upcycled marine plastic waste that would otherwise imperil marine ecosystems. Local fishermen are incentivized in ghost net retrieval, subsequently training and empowering marginalized individuals to skillfully braid the nets into ropes adorned with vibrant cord. Ultimately, the profits from these sales reverberate back to supporting rescued animals at ACF Animal Rescue.
Trio History
Passionate About Change
The founders of TRIO started Pakistan’s first and largest animal rescue organization in 2013, essentially introducing the country to animal welfare for the first time with the hopes of making awareness on the matter a norm as opposed to an exception.
TRIO is an incredibly unique concept that finds its roots in Pakistan. Prior to the company’s existence, the TRIO founders were in a vulnerable place trying to figure out how to raise funds for their animal rescue organization. But as they say, necessity is the mother of invention, and through their struggle, TRIO was brought to life!

THE 3 LAYERS OF THE WORLD THAT NEED PROTECTION & CARE
01
The Environment
Ghost nets, discarded fishing nets in the ocean, pose a grave threat to marine life and habitats. To combat this, these nets are retrieved and repurposed, safeguarding natural environments. The cleaned and prepared nets are then
transformed into leashes, and we further reduce waste by utilizing denim offcuts for coating. TRIO is committed to sourcing raw materials sustainably, prioritizing suppliers with environmentally friendly practices. By using sustainable resources, TRIO reduces its ecological footprint and promotes responsible production.
02
Humanity
TRIO empowers local fishermen by offering them income to retrieve the nets from the sea. After thorough cleaning and drying, the nets are skillfully woven by local women and marginalized communities. These women have mastered the art of bundling and braiding the nets into ghost net ropes.
The commitment goes beyond financial compensation . Through education and raising awareness in these communities about climate
change, pollution, and the significance of safeguarding our wildlife and natural ecosystems, there is a much deeper reward and long-term impact.
03
Animal Welfare
Through TRIO’s efforts, marine life is safeguarded from the perilous impact of ghost nets, saving creatures like sharks, rays, sea turtles, and dolphins
from harm. Additionally, part of leash sale profits are devoted to ACF Animal Rescue, Pakistan's foremost animal rescue organization, dedicated to rehabilitating and protecting abused, injured, and homeless animals, all while advocating for empathy and compassion to build a more informed and caring society.

Approximately 530,000 cats are euthanized in U.S. shelters each year due to overpopulation and lack of resources. Small rescues play a critical role in reducing these numbers by pulling cats from high-kill shelters, but they need financial support to continue this lifesaving work. Nonprofit organizations rely mostly on donations. Raising funds has become increasingly more difficult, while the need for more rescue work has not diminished.
